Nose feels blocked? Try this 30-second test before you buy

Two simple moves to see whether support at the front of your nose (the nasal valve) is linked to how your breathing feels.

Test 1 | Lift the nose tip

Close your mouth and breathe through your nose 5 times. Notice how easy it feels.

Keep it lifted and breathe through your nose 5 more times, then compare.

Test 2 | No change? Try a cotton swab

Take a clean cotton swab, gently place it just inside the nostril and lift the side of the nose slightly outward and upward, then breathe through your nose 5 times.

No difference either way?

A blocked nose can have other causes, such as allergies, a deviated septum or enlarged turbinates. Please see an ENT doctor first.

Nasal width varies from person to person. Please measure before you buy rather than guessing by appearance, gender or build.

Gently insert a cotton swab into your nostril and push it slightly upward to find where breathing feels easiest
Mark the measuring point on the swab, then remove it gently
Measure the marked distance with a ruler and check the size chart below

When to wear it

Jogging, hiking, cycling, sleep, or whenever you want to focus.

Precautions

For personal use only. Do not share with others.
Avoid knocking your nose while wearing it.
Do not use if you are allergic to metal or silicone.
Replace the product if the silicone is damaged.
Clean daily and keep it hygienic.
After cleaning, dry thoroughly and store in a well-ventilated place.
When using for the first time, do not wear it for more than 2 hours at a time. If it feels uncomfortable, adjust the angle before wearing it again, and increase the time gradually.
Do not widen it too much, as this may cause pain.
Stop using it immediately and consult a doctor if you feel discomfort or pain from rubbing.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not swallow.
Children must use it under adult supervision. Not suitable for children under 5.
For hygiene, replace it about every 6 months.

How to wear

Choose the right size first, then gently place it inside your nose and check the left and right position and fit. If you need to adjust it, make small, gradual changes. Start with short periods of wear the first time.

Cleaning & care

Rinse gently with water and a mild cleanser; hot water can also be used for daily cleaning. Air dry in a cool, ventilated place. Avoid repeated over-bending, twisting, pulling or sharp folding.

Lifespan & replacement

Lifespan depends on frequency of use, cleaning and storage, typically 6 months to 1 year. Replace it if the silicone hardens, cracks, deforms or is damaged, or if the fit changes noticeably.
